Nilufer Kocabas, graduated with Adaptive Architecture and Computation MSc degree from the Bartlett, UCL, London.
Over the past three years Nilufer has been working as a designer focusing on contemporary design, parametric design and fabrication in London and Istanbul. She has worked in Uras&Dilekci Architects in Istanbul and Ushida Findlay Architects in London where she was involved in ArchelorMittal Orbit by Anish Kapoor and Cecil Balmond. She is currently working at Studio Amita Vikrant, London, on a residential project in India.
In 2009 Nilufer collaborated with Can Altay to create complex architectural components for ‘The New Horizon’ a solo exhibition of Emre Huner in Stroom Gallery, The Hague. She also organized Parametric Synthesis 2010 in Istanbul Technical University in collaboration with LAN and London Metropolitan Works.
